The Schaudepot (display depot) provides an exclusive insight into the Akademie der Künste’s outstanding collection of architectural models.

In the run-up to the Berlin House of Representatives election, the Rat für die Künste Berlin and the Akademie der Künste are inviting the leading candidates of the democratic parties to a public discussion on cultural policy.

The Summer Festival at Brecht and Weigel’s, featuring an open archive, guided tours of the museum, music and performances exploring Brecht’s “(un)American activities”. Followed by a “witching hour” at the neighbouring Dorotheenstadt Cemetery.

The lecture series takes the 20th anniversary of the Valeska Gert Guest Professorship as an opportunity to celebrate Gert’s contributions to dance, film, performance art, experimental theatre, and queer and feminist culture.
