Markus Liske lives in Berlin as a freelance writer. His publications include several volumes of satire, literary and political anthologies, a reading book, a literary montage on the life and work of Erich Mühsam, and the novel Glücksschweine (Verbrecher Verlag, 2016).
Alongside his literary work, he is a regular contributor to the weekly newspaper Jungle World and a member of the band Der Singende Tresen. Since 2009, he has run the creative studio WORT & TON as a joint production office with the author and singer Manja Präkels. His new novel, provisionally titled Rufende Leere, is due to be published by Verbrecher Verlag in 2027.
